On Saturday night we attended the annual Symphony under the Stars performance by the Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra in Launceston. What a fantastic evening of food, wine and amazing music.
We joined thousands of other people at City Park, with our picnic chairs and Esky, where we sat and listened as the sun set and the trees came alive with hundreds of colourful fairy lights.
The weather was beautiful all day and there wasn't a cloud in the sky to mar our view of those other fairy lights above. The TSO finished off with the 1812 Overture and we gave them a standing ovation.
This highly anticipated event is not to be missed in 2016!
